Community Feedback

The provision of accessible toilets for persons with disabilities and the implementation of a water harvesting system have made my life much easier and more dignified. Earlier, there was a severe shortage of water for drinking and agriculture. Wells, hand pumps, ponds, and anicuts would dry up quickly, leading to constant water scarcity in the village. There was also a serious lack of water for livestock. However, through the efforts of Apna Sansthan, small and large anicuts were constructed. In addition, water conservation structures such as gully plugs and contour trenches were developed to stop and store rainwater. This helped increase groundwater levels and improved water retention in the soil. Today, hand pumps, wells, and ponds have water available throughout the year, bringing great relief and benefits to the entire community. We express our heartfelt gratitude to Apna Sansthan for this remarkable work.
