Watershed Dovelopment

WATERSHED DEVELOPMENT AND FARMING IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMME

In the southern part of Rajasthan, in the Aravalli mountain range, due to the rough and stony land of the villages, rain water flows away due to which the water level in the wells remains low. People have small pieces of farming, farming is not equal. Because of this, people migrate and work outside, due to which the benefits of government schemes are not fully available and children are deprived of education. After conducting ground level survey by Apna Sanstha, from the year 1995, following works were done in 25 villages in two blocks of Udaipur district with the help of CASA, Wells for India UK, AFPRO New Delhi and NABARD.
