The people of Khedachoda (Vikela) village of Adinda panchayat of Vallabhnagar block of Udaipur district, where the families of Rawat tribe live, depend on agriculture and wages. Even after the independence of the country, there is still a kutcha road to reach this village, which has also been built by the local people. There was a big problem of drinking water in Khedachora.There are two hand pumps in this village, one of which is faulty and the other has no water. The local people used to bring drinking water from a kilometer away. In the year December 2022, Apna Sansthan discussed with the local people and requested the Sarpanch but he did not pay any attention, Apna Sansthan discussed with Dr. Deepti Sharma of Waterwisdom, made a water tank of 30 thousand liters with the financial support of Waterwisdom Gone made. After construction work, pipeline was laid to the houses of 50 families and tap connection was given in every house.
The local people contributed 25 percent in the community pure drinking water scheme, Mr. Varda ji Meena contributed the most in this work, he was being given water from his well to fill the water tank, he refused to take the amount and Where will I keep giving water until other arrangements are made. Rs 658000 were spent on this work. A committee has been formed for the operation and management of the Community Pure Drinking Water Scheme, which oversees the entire system.

Apna Sansthan’ non-profit organization registered under the Rajasthan Societies Registration Act 1958 was started in 1993 by like-minded people who were filled with enthusiasm to help the underprivileged sections of the society.
